Your Birth Stories: YogaBears

Staying active throughout the pregnancy really helped me to

give birth to our first son in the pool/water completely natural

with a speedy labour of 2,5 hours. It is not just a myth but the

truth: regular yoga practice promotes well-being, a healthy

body and mind, strength and endurance, so much needed

during pregnancy and early motherhood.“

Hi Dani!

I had a healthy baby boy last Saturday at the birth centre. He was born in the water during 90min.  I dealt with pre-labour phase really well at home, thanks to my yoga practice! The breathing and techniques we learnt in the workshop really helped. It was a quick birth on all 4's picked as my "favourite“ position I learned during the classes and the workshop.

Thanks and see you soon.

Hi Dani!
I've finally given birth! Jeanne was born on Friday morning, the 23 March. Another week after my last yoga class.
She is very healthy and weights 3,5kg.

I gave birth naturally as there was no time for the epidural. It all was pretty quick and lasted 8 hours. My contractions came VERY quick and strong and I was able to manage and stay calm with the yoga breathing, incredible helpful!

Good luck to you and the other girls.
